Most satanists dont actually worship Satan, its more the idea of 'I am my own god'

well, modern satanism is not the cult-like-lamb-sacrificing rituals that you see in movies. they actually believe Satan is BAD, and use him as more of a metaphor, not a god.

As a satanist, we don’t see him as bad (not speaking for all of us tho), we see him as a symbol of rebellion. And theistic Satanism (worshipping Satan) isn’t all cults and sacrifices either.
