So a week ago my great grandfather died his body just couldn’t go on he had dementia so it was a surprise that he was able to remember people. He had developed schizophrenia and he got mad about a government car that he hadn’t had for years.

I feel happy remembering things about him from when we played hide and seek and when he would read me astronomy magazines he was one of the people that inspired me, but then the cold hard reality hits when I remember I will never be able to see him again his funeral is very soon

I only ever met 1 of my great grandpa's, my mom's mom's dad

He lived up north in the up tho so I didnt see him very often

He died about 6 years ago now, just a couple months away from his 100th birthday
