Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra (May 12, 1925 – September 22, 2015) was an Americanbaseballcatcher, manager, and coach. He played almost his entire career for the Major League Baseball (MLB) team New York Yankees (1946–1963). He played for the New York Mets in 1965, and also coached the team. He won a record 13 World Series, as a player and coach.
