AboutPaceman.ioPaceman is a free online browser game that is based on gaining speed for each point eaten. The more points you eat, the faster you become. The fastest Paceman receives a crown and a top placement on the scoreboard. Green and red powers spawn randomly around the map, which provide boosts or decreases of different types. Avoid the roundsaws! They kill instantly on collision. How to Play is played simply by controlling your Paceman's rotation. You control Paceman either by moving your mouse, in which case Paceman will move towards your mouse. You can also control Paceman with the A D keys or the left and right arrow keys. Additionally, Paceman can apply a powerful 'dash' move by holding the mouse button or spacebar down for a short period, before releasing. Paceman will first slow down while 'charging up', and upon release Paceman moves very quickly forward in a 'dashing' move. You can eath other players by hitting them exactly from behind, otherwise you both bounce depending on your StrategyThe objective in Paceman is to achieve the highest score. The most obvious strategy in this regard is to play carefully and collect as many points as possible. By eating other players, they drop some of their points which you can then collect for yourself. You can also focus on collecting powers, which can e.g. boost how quickly you gain points.
