I have really wanted instagram for over a year now, but my parents think it's "dangerous" (network wise) for me to go on it just because i'm underage!

What should I do to try and convince them to let me have it?

It can be dangerous- only if you abuse it!

Social media can help you get in contact with friends, family. It can help you find hobbies, events and more.

It can also cause viruses and more bad stuff if you aren't careful.

Remember to bring up all these points when asking.

All social media sites can be dangerous, especially for those underage. Perhaps you can set up an account with "parental controls" or a setting so not just anyone can follow you
