I want to cut my hair shorter than it is now but too afraid that my mom will freak out and do the unthinkable and people will make fun of me for it,, with this style I have now it doesn't feel right on me and there is always something that needs to be done to it according to my mom. And with me being black,, I would sweat and my roots will poof up and everything will look bad. I just want to feel more good about myself and not worry about anything being done to it 24/7.
What do I do?
