So there are quite a few KT users I've seen that have autism, so I thought I'd spread some info about it!
▪︎boys are more likely to have it than girls
▪︎ASD is a developmental disability that generally appears before the age of 3
▪︎There is currently no cure for autism
▪︎People with autism have communication deficits
▪︎People that have ASD often care deeply but lack the ability to develop empathic and socially connected typical behavior
▪︎People with autism often have more than one disorder
▪︎Each person with ASD will not act the same way. Some may be able to make eye contact, some can't.
▪︎Individuals with autism may have a special interest they have a certain passion for
▪︎symptoms of ASD differ from female to male
♤here are some symptoms of ASD:
☆ Delayed language skills
☆ Delayed movement skills
☆ Delayed cognitive or learning. skills
☆ Hyperactive, impulsive, and/or inattentive behavior
☆ Epilepsy or seizure disorder
☆ Unusual eating and sleeping habits
☆ Stomach problems
☆ Unusual mood or emotional reactions
☆ Anxiety, stress, or excessive worry
☆ Lack of fear or more fear than expected
☆ Gets upset by minor changes
☆ Has obsessive interests
☆ Must follow a certain routine
☆ Has unusual reactions to the way things sound, smell, taste, look, or feel
♧note: People with autism may not have all the symptoms
