*Note: Hey everyone! I'm filling in with the daily Pride Month Post for today because Writingnerd is busy and isn't able to. I tried to mimic their personality as best as I could during this post. They are amazing and all credit for this goes to them; they gave me full permission to do this! Thanks :D*

Hello, everyone! We are back at it with a late night broadcast, featuring a very special guest! How about you introduce yourself *drum roll*... Aroace?!

Hello. I would say it's a pleasure to be here, but that would be a lie.

Oh, come now, Aroace! Let's not be so glum. How about you introduce yourself and what you mean?

I'm not a fan of crowds; quote the opposite actually. But I'll try. I am Aroace, and I am the combination of Aromantic and Asexual. Aromantic is when an individual experiences little to no-

Hey, that's me!

*Crowd laughs*

As I was saying, Aromantic is when someone feels little to no ROMANTIC attraction, and Asexual is similar. Asexual is when someone feels little to no S*XUAL attraction. When someone identifies as both, they are Aroace. Now, this doesn't mean that Asexual and/or Aromantic people can't date, because they can! It just means that it sort of limits their attraction in a way.

*shoves* Yes, thank you, Aroace, for this charming discussion! That's all for now, folks, be sure to tune in next time, when we will be going over...Whatever terms Writingnerd wants! Goodbye and goodday to you!

I have a question! I have never realized that aroace people date. If they do, what sort of relationship are they in with their partner? Just curious, thank you!
by
Im glad I could give you some new knowledge! Yes, Aroace/Aromantic/Asexual people can date, but they may not feel attraction/may not do the same things with their partner that other people would.

I, myself, am an Aromantic person, so I will just tell you my experiences. This doesn't mean I CAN'T feel love, but when I do its short-lived and hard to define. I used to date someone, and we felt love perfectly normally, except anything super affectionate or romantic kind of disgusted me. Hugging and cuddling was super...eh...and holding hands was okay.

Now obviously this can look really different for everyone that falls under the Aro/Ace "umbrella", but this basically sums it up. They can date, but some " normal" couple things may not be involved in their relationship.

Thank you so much for asking this! Its actually a very good question.

Yeah. I do experience romantic attraction (reasons why I don’t label myself as aroace), though.

Nice.

I don't label myself as Aroace because I don't really know what s*dual attraction even feels like lol.

It’s…uh…I highly doubt KS would let me tell you.

But it’s basically physical attraction.
