Fitting in

Question

I am curious: does anyone else feel like they are different from other people and can’t fit in no matter what you do? I try to be trendy and dress nicely and be nice to everyone but still don’t have any close friends. I just don’t understand how people can be so similar to each other. I’m the left out one in the trio and do not have much similarities with others. They are literally so different from me and for some reason I don’t understand their humor at all. I’m not the most outgoing, but I try to make conversation yet am always the third wheel. Does anyone else just can’t fit in?

Everyone is different, but my interests are very different from everyone else’s. For example I don’t do competitive sports, and instead my main focus is music. No friends except for one in my classes have the same religious beliefs. I don’t like tv or movies that everyone else likes, and I can’t relate to them. A lot of people even my friends try to show that my differences are, well, different.

Same, I'm very VERY different from everyone else. But that's what I meant, it's great to stick out bc that means your already fitting in and being comfterable with yourself. I stick out like a sore thumb, according to the "popular" beliefs, cuz I like anime, have tattoos, lots of peircings, hair coloring, and I'm just weird overall. I've gotten bullied a lot bc I chose to be myself. I don't care what my friends think about me, they eat dirt for all I care I only need them so I can hang out. Not so they can judge me. Anyway I think ur awesome and don't let others think they can pick u apart and get away with it

I live in an extremely full house and that is just the started. Ok people might think that living in a large family is interesting as there is always some one who will understand you or is like you, but honestly this saying is NOT AT ALL true for me.

anyways i have got a ton of friends , like every one in y school knows me but there is no one who warms up to you. I guess I understand how you feel with no one to warm up to you and understand you like you care. Still, embrace these happy things f life while you can as if you have had any past experience, you may love these moments. Or maybe something in the future will remind you of these small difficulties with the ones you have to face.
