This is where we can participate in creating a paper dragon puppet, post it, vote(whichever question gets commented most, no saying the same thing 5 times doesn't work) which you like best, and get awarded best puppet!
Sorry but umm no points
Its truey only for fun!
This is also where two puppeteers, (BobaDragon and Art) can compete! Art made an awesome four jaw paper dragon! https://www.kidzsearch.com/questions/517611/dragon-puppet(tbh no clue how they made it) and Boba responded with I take this as a challenge!
To make a puppet, you need:
A reference drawing of it.
Markers or paint (alcohol and paint markers work well)
Cardboard or heavy paper (construction paper doesn't work)
Cardstock.
Glue or hot glue.
A light pad is recommended!
Pencil.
Eraser.
Something with a straight edge.
You definitely cannot follow my instructions, or use the same materials!
Creating the design:
Draw the dragon on Cardstock, and flip it around. Carefully trace around it, and now you have the other side! If you used a light board, put the dragon underneath the Cardstock, and trace the details you need for the other side.
Create a jaw that leaves no gaps when closed.
Flip it over and trace
Carefully cut these all out.
For heavy paper users, trace these again and double layer it. It makes the puppet drastically less floppy. Cardboard users should just use some squares to support the hors or ears.
Done!
Creating the base:
Place your hand on the selected material, cardboard or heavy paper.
Create a triangle, with a flat tip at the end, that four of your fingers fit in.
Create another one like this, but if you used construction paper, double layer it! Make sure it's the same length as your puppets upper head.
Create a smaller(same length) version of the previous one. Your puppets jaw should go here, so make enough room to glue it on!
Create a square that is the same length as the first triangle. If it's flat, glueing it on should be no problem! Create two of these, and repeat. For heavy paper, bend the sides of it so anything you glue on can fit. Then repeat!
For the extra peice of cardboard, glue I on the top of the head and bend it to make sure it covers up the inside. For heavy paper, bend the paper and cut it where it needs to bend.
Create another 2 squares, but smaller for your dragon puppets jaw! Glue them on. Reapet what you did in the previous step for heavy paper.
Create a much smaller square, and glue it to the top of these squares.
Glue on your dragon puppets colored on jaw, and head.
Glue in some Cardstock between these to pieces, and now it shouldn't bend out of place!
Congratulations! You should've created a dragon puppet! Enjoy tossing them around, and forcing them to sing along with horrible(jk) songs.
May the best puppet win!
You can also included whatever you want! I also found a post that has a dragon puppet abilities battle, and it sounds sweet!
