I don't really like division. Any tips on solving?

Don't ask me I'm terrible. My teacher once had to have a one-on-one with me about it like 3 times until I actually understood it.

Let me give u a few strats for division.

Strat 1: make a picture. You have 4 circles.  You have to divide them by 2(ik this is simple)  so you have 4 / 2 (/ is a sign for division) so you have 4 items and 2 groups. Put those items into each group

Group 1   group 2

You have 2 groups of 2 also known as 2 x 2. You can do this with bigger groups but it will take longer.

I know I said I would give u 3 strats but I don't remember them mb. I've been using a calculator for so long I forgot how to do long divisiom

its just reverse multiplication, you can easily find the missing variable if the number is low.

are you talking about long division? But anyway here are some things to remember. Have like factor pairs in mind or how many groups of one number can go into another.

ex. 27/9

how many groups of 9 can go into 27. the answer is 3. 9+9+9=27

so now we now factor pairs of 27 are 3 & 9 and 1 & 27(anything times one is the number itself).
