Question

okay so here is my vent about the switch 2, except unlike everbody else i'm defending nitendo. yes, i know everyone is going to spam the comments on how much i'm wrong

why is everyone so upset about it being "the same as the normal switch" dude nitendo launched 7 diffent gameboys and your getting mad about two switches? compared to how many gameboys they made, another switch model is basically nothing. ik ya'll are all freaking out because most of ya'll weren't around when nitendo launched most of the gameboys and stuff but here i have a list of how many times nitendo had made multipe versions of the same console but slightly diffrent:

Gameboy:Gameboy pocket, gameboy color, gameboy advanced, gameboy micro, backlit gameboy, and one other i forgot the name of

DS: 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS

Wii: Wii U Wii mini

NES: SNES

a ton of others, google it if you must

this is not a big deal guys. i can agree the prices are aubsurd but it is still diffrent from the switch ya'll just don't understamd because it's a lot of software changes it has that actually make a big diffrence for people like my brother  who collect games and need a lot of storage and stuff:

It has more storage (very usefull for collectors)

faster loading speeds (finally!)

Smoother frame rates (I've been waiting for that)

EIGHT TIMES more storage than the original switch

better fan to prevent overheating

better audio

higher refresh rate

and much more so you can see it's a nig diffrence if you care about better run times

but i do agree $80 for mario cart is silly, but i don't play mario cart anyway and the new mario cart looks kinda worse

anyways sorry for venting, if you made it this far thanks for listening, and please if your going to rant in the comments about how you hate the switch two, whyyy

Honestly the switch 2 sounds really cool. That's what I thought when it was first announced.  Idk why there's so much hate.

Why do people even feel obligated to get the switch 2? Just because its new doesn't mean you HAVE to have it. Just keep your old switch 1.

if you want the switch one you can keep your switch one, if you want the switch 2 you can buy a switch 2

a main reason i'm getting it is bc my brothr is a video game collector, and if they release new zelda games i will be very sad until i play it XD

No, all of the "new features" have been the standard for years at this point, and why is Nintendo rereleasing games that already came out? Scammy activities bruh, oh and can't forget about the crappy 50 dollar temu camera also. plus, MARIO KART IS NOT A TRIPLE A GAME STOP PRICING IT LIKE THAT

the reason they are releasing games that already came out is because they already came out on play station PC and xbox, but now nitendo made a beefier console that can actually run them correctly.

i don't care about the camera really why would i take pictures on my switch?

i called it new features because it is standard but the switch was lacking a couple of them *frames per second cough cough*

Here's my view.   The previous consoles you mentioned, while copy paste of the original, didn't have as many console exclusive, most DS games where on every DS, the SNES was reasonably priced. WII U and the WII are very different. The WII mini was cheaper for less.
If the switch two costed even 70 dollars more than the switch, people would be happy. But they changed 100 dollars, for 40 dollars worth of changes you could make on a normal switch.
And Nintendo sets the standard, now most consoles, valid or not, will cost heaps more, and triple a games below $80.00 will become a thing of the past.

Knowing Nintendo, they would increase prices without the terifs. Nintendo is greedy, suing palword when they only have similar creatures and ways to capture said creatures.

But still Nintendo is being greedy, all these high price announcements by Nintendo came before the terifs.

Making a new design for a console and mass producing it would cost thousands-millions, the price for the switch 2 is bad, but not outrageous.
80 for a game, not even a triple A game is what people are mad about.
