I feel like alot of people don't understand that gender is a social construct, just like race. There aren't just 2 genders, there are so many on the spectrum, just like race.

and yes, race is a social construct. Race is literally defined by appearance and culture. There is no gene that defines 'biological' races. If there was, then race wouldn't be a social construct. Society literally created race. There is more genetic variation between a race group than people realize.

Gender is a social construct just like time is.

and time is just another man made concept.

What I’m trying to say, is that in my experience—gender doesn’t really exist; we’re all just humans trying to make sense of the world, no matter if your sex is female, male or intersex.

We all experienced the world differently, just like how for some people time moves quickly, slowly, or is a roller coaster.

anyway, that’s just what I think about ‘gender’

A nonbinary person is someone who doesn't fit the gender binary, i.e. binary women and binary men. Nonbinary is not a term for people who have no gender which is a definition people confuse nonbinary with more than often, though it can be. Nonbinary is a spectrum of multiple genders; you should do your own research about it if you really want to show your support towards that group.

YES!! i've BEEN saying this forever. Gender isn't only a normal social construct it's a cis social construct. Gender and identity are not always set definitions and are always flexible to whoever identifies as such. I, myself, am a lesboy and I have gotten so much backlash on who I am because I don't fit a "criterion of gender to identify as lesbian"

No. I try to respect they/them pronouns, but you can't change my mind that male and female (and intersex) are the only genders (this doesn't mean I'm against transgender, though definitely don't say you're God and use god/godself pronouns or whatever).

Also, btw, remember that "novabloom" kid who thinks they're a star (I mean the Sun, not like a celebrity) and uses weird pronouns I can't even bother to remember? They admitted they're using them because of REDDIT.

Isn't that just a lie.

Like a male has a different anatomy, hormones, etc, that a female has. And yes they have different social traits and that's been proven many many times.

gender and sex are two completely different things. Gender is a social construct and sex is biological. Yes there are only two sex, male and female. But there are many genders. Hormone levels can heavily impact that spectrum.

The definition of gender is a term that cannot be pinpointed due to how people express it and how it's a broad term. Another person may express how it's used to describe sex and another person may think of it as a social occurrence that doesn't mean anything. These two things do not share a sound similarity other than them both being a prescriptive on a definition of a word.
