Annotating another book T-T

This is the 3rd book this year

Like wut

First it was Fahrenheit 451, then Animal Farm, and now Romeo and Juliet

I don’t mind reading it tho

Our teacher gave us parts for it and I’m Romeo :3 (He’s kinda relatable tho T-T)

I just hate annotating books

Annotation is the worst thing ever. I just want to have a normal reading experience without having to write down ideas 24/7. I hold them in my own head just fine. I understand literary techniques  

Also for some reason at my school they won’t even let us read the whole book, they give us shortened packets of the text. For some reason all 9th graders are in the same class. Mb that turned into a mini rant

I also hate doing it in physical books because I don’t like writing on the text

It makes it hard to read and I feel like it’s disrespectful to the work

I’m in 9th grade rn and I KNOW next year they’ll give us so much more

Don’t we just love IB?

yeah that's fair. Im not in IB but I have a few freinds who are and it sounds very difficult.

I hate annotating books

Anyways Fahrenheit 451 and Animal Farm are great

Dystopian books are honestly some of my favorites 

Probably pretty close with fantasy
