Xcel Energy Center (also called The X) is an arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota, sponsored by Xcel Energy. It is used for many purposes.
It is the home of the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL) and Minnesota of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). It was also home to the Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) from 2005 until 2015 and the temporary home to the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) during their 2017 season.
