The next night, just before Steve was going to help the kids pick their classes, Alex came home and said “Steve! I’m home!”
Steve ran up to her and hugged her and said “Hello. So, Sunny has a bully problem”
“What?! Has she told a teacher?”
“Apparently whenever she tells a teacher, the teacher says something like, ‘try and be nice to him’ or ‘he’s just training to be a legend.’. Due to my logic, he wants to be a PvP legend. I’m coming to school with her tomorrow”
Alex said “Aww Steve, I appreciate you telling me. I’ll deal with it on my own terms. Do you know the kid’s name?”
“Nope!”
“Sunny! Get in here!”
Sunny came over to Alex and said “Yeah?”
“Would you mind telling me who your bully is?”
“Abraham Webb”
Steve nodded and looked him up on the future legends list and saw he was there.
Steve said “I’m sorry, he’s training to be a legend. I can’t do anything to help you.”
Alex sternly said “Now Steve, you can and will have a meeting with his parents a week after your birthday!”
Steve nodded and said “Yeah. I’ll do that. He then looked up his parent’s numbers on the PvP website and found them.
He called the mother and said “Hello, in 14 days, I’ll be having a meeting with you guys about the topic of your son.”
The mother said “Okay Steve.”
On Steve’s birthday, Steve woke up and realized he had forgotten to make the coffee the night before. He trudged downstairs and saw everyone making breakfast.
Alex said “Steve, don’t worry, we’ve got this all under control. Go back to bed. We want your 73rd birthday to be a good one!”
Steve headed back upstairs to his room and turned on the TV and saw there was a series of griefs that happened the night before.”
When Steve heard his village would probably be the next target, he screamed.
Alex ran upstairs and saw what was on screen.
Alex said “Now Steve, the voice sounds like a child. It’s probably just a kid that got on the set.”
Steve said “Yeah. You’re right.” and chuckled nervously.
Alex then went downstairs to complete Steve’s breakfast. About ten minutes later, they came upstairs with Steve’s breakfast.
When Steve saw there was coffee on the tray, he said “How?! I forgot the coffee last night.”
Alex said “I did it. I didn’t hear you complaining about having to make it last night. I made it after you went to bed and for breakfast, we prepared: french toast and bacon with a few chocolate chip pancakes and an egg.”
Steve said “Aww, guys. You know I won’t be able to eat all this.”
Alex then removed the lid from the plate and gave Steve the utensils.
Alex said “So, would you like us to stay here while you eat?”
“Yeah.”
About a half hour later, Steve had finished eating his breakfast and he said “Ohh my gosh. I haven’t eaten like that since that fateful day when-” he started to cry.
Alex said “Steve, Steve. Don’t think about that.”
Zuri said “What is it?”
“His most traumatic childhood memory. He still thinks about it every day… or so he tells me”
Steve then nodded and said “Yeah”
Alex said “Steve, do you want to see Kathy? She has a surprise for you.”
“Is it that Bob, Harry and Tristan are still around?”
“Sadly, no”
“Then no!”
Kathy then came to the door and Steve came down to answer it.
He said “Yeah?”
“I have something I want to show you!”
Steve followed Kathy to the surprise and it was his village that was renamed Stonecutter-ville.
Steve said “Aww. Kathy. I love this! To open any gift now would be like following an iron golem!”
Alex then led Steve back inside his house and said “Now for family gifts!”
Steve sat on the couch and saw there were so many gifts.
Steve said “Let’s see what my parents got me.”
“I think you want to open that one last.”
Steve then opened the one from Alex and it was the rest of the advanced guide to PvP series.
Steve said “Aww. Alex. Thanks!”
Then he opened the one from Noor. Noor got him a new computer.
Steve said “Aww. This will require a lot of setup but, still!”
Zuri said “Mine next!”
Steve opened the one from Zuri to find a photo of him in his arena.
Steve said “Aww. Nice try. I already have one from Kathy that Alex gave me that has me and Alex in the photo.”
After he had opened all his gifts, he said “Aww. Thank you all of you. But, a special thank you to Makenna who gave me a state of the art auto-swinging diamond coated netherite sword. I thought they discontinued these.”
Alex said “Steve, I’m sorry. You should say a temporary goodbye to Kathy because we’ll take you on a special little trip.”
Steve left the house and said “Kath, goodbye. I’ll see you later.”
Kathy said “Where are you going?”
“I have no clue. All I know is it’s a surprise”
Alex then yelled “Steve! I’ve packed your things you’ll need! Now get home! We have to be there in 30 minutes!”
Steve said “Bye Kath! See you when I get back!”
Steve then rushed home and Alex said “Ready Zuri?”
“Yeah!” and blindfolded Steve.
