Say you are a car dealer, and someone wants to buy a car for $10,000.

You two were working out the purchasing paperwork and such, but suddenly, another person runs up to you and says: "I'll pay you $100,000 right now for this car!"

What would you do?

The first person that inquired about the car has not signed the paperwork yet.

I personally would let the first person buy the car.

I would by the car and then drive off because I cannot make decisions—

I’d let the first person buy the car, because the first person came first.

Let the first person buy the car and show the second person the same car and have them pay for that

WIN-WIN

Assuming there’s one car each, you’re basically just scamming.
