oh no.... *trigger warning*

Question

So I started watching this guy who would cover minor crimes, all with happy endings (child ab*se stories, kidnappers, etc). It wasn't affecting me at all, until a video showed up on my for you page about kidnappers. I decided to watch it, but only watched half of it for whatever reason.

After that, I got attached to YouTube crime documentaries.

I and officially scared of reality.

No, really. Some girl was on a walk with her mom, and her mom got knocked out and the girl got throw into a car and kidnapped. Luckily, the police found her and she was fine, but what if they didn't find her in time?

Someone help me.....

I do the same stuff and my anxiety just randomly appears out of nowhere at 3am saying "you're about to get kidnapped and unalived by this 50 yr old man in your closet" so- yeah :)

I just say "gurl Shut upp"

I used to just read bleeping buzzfeed true crime articles or whatever

stopped doing it cuz it was dumb

I cant leave shower curtains closed when nobody in there

or my closet door open

or any doors or windows open

My mom loves true crime. She watches it on TV. (She doesn’t like the identify theft true crime, just the ones that happen in real life, especially cold cases)

I’m not allowed to watch true crime.

Ooh I love true crime documentaries, they,are interesting but it still is sad that things like that happen to people

(also I seen,the one where the girl was kidnapped from her mothers arms, and saw what the man did to her afterwards sickened me)

I don't have real friends so I stay inside all the time, but I could be a target for predators online

I can relate. I watch a lot of true crime and it makes me really scared.

Just remember this:

Just bc you started watching stuff like that doesn't mean it's gonna happen anytime soon. It's too much of a coincidence.
