Join Us in Creating a Safe and Supportive Community for Kids

KidzSearch.com was initially developed to fulfill the need of creating a safe place for kids to do school research. In addition to our safe search engine, we also have community features, such as KidzTalk. KidzTalk allows kids of all ages to ask questions that can be answered by other kids. Topics range from homework help to important personal issues. It has been called “Reddit for kids.” In order to keep the experience safe and positive, we rely on volunteers to help us moderate all content before anything is displayed.

Founded in 2005, KidzSearch is now the most popular search engine and portal for kids. It offers a variety of safe versions of popular sites, such as KidzTube for videos, educational and fun games, a safe Wikipedia for kids, streaming music, and other related features. Our platform helps kids learn, explore, and socialize in a safe, positive environment, with an emphasis on online safety and quality content designed for our audience.

Why We Need Volunteers

As the KidzTalk community continues to grow beyond our expectations and help kids, we don’t have the resources for enough staff to keep up with the demand to moderate content. Volunteers play a critical role in keeping KidzTalk a secure place where kids can feel safe talking about important issues to them. By volunteering as a moderator, you will help ensure that we can keep it growing and active.

Moderation on KidzTalk includes tasks such as:

• Monitoring and approving questions, posts, and comments.
• Removing content that does not meet our strict safety guidelines.
• Reporting any issues that require further attention

Who Can Volunteer

We welcome volunteers who are passionate about creating a positive impact for kids. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, be fluent in English, and have a basic understanding of child safety, privacy rules, and online moderation. Previous experience in education, counseling, or online community management is helpful but not required.

Volunteer Requirements

• Age: 18 or older
• Language: You must be fluent in English.
• Resume: We require a resume to screen all applicants.
• Internet Access: The job is 100% online, so you will need a stable internet connection.
