Homemade Street Luges - first run - Homemade Science with Bruce Yeany

SInce we are both physical science teachers, my son and I are always looking for fun examples of changing potential energy into kinetic energy, we thought we would give street luges a try. This was one of our first runs before we tried some steeper hills. Our faster runs were clocked around 35 mph. While there are some experts that may go twice as fast as this, this was plenty fast for me.
