D&D…….

Question

Guys my friend plays D&D and I’ve always wanted to get into it. They have given me some run downs on the basics. Does anyone have any tips or advice on things I could do to get started. I know the general concept of the game. I’m thinking character and rule wise yk

Rolplay! It makes it ten times more fun :D

There is no right or wrong way to rolplay, nor is there 'the most correct or overpowered build'. What there is is a way to have fun, which is what dnd is about!

Sure, playing as a druid with the Shepard circle is the best one for builds, as you can theoretically deal 100 damage, but rolling literally hundredes of dice is not fun.

So, play what you think will be fun!

my biggest advice is to think outside of the box. d&d has infinite possibility so you can do anything! have fun and be original, be risky, and don't play every game the same.

Seems fun to play, I wanted to play it at least once.

I only played once, but I'm getting more into it! (I was a paladin, and I had fun.)
