To begin, I am so sorry for being late. Sometimes family tension can be very heartbreaking, and scary. Sometimes a genuine appoligy is needed, but at the same time, sometimes things can be so intense where you feel that they may not feel that they accept the appology right away.
Maybe ask if it is okay that when SHE HAS TIME if it is okay if you two talk it out, and you both politely say how you feel. It is important for one not to interupt the other, and also try to look at things as what can be improved and what YOU can do to fix the issue. This way it doesnt put her on the defense, and you can try hard, and when she sees that it will be a lot harder for them to be mad at you anymore.
I know this can be a very scary experience personally, try to stay strong.
