Life Update!

Ok, so most of you wont care but if you read my post from a while ago you will know.

I’m genderfluid and bisexual. I haven’t told my parents yet… Anyway, my dad is exactly abusive, But he scares my when i go to his house. (My parents are divorced) Like one time i was making Mac and cheese for me and my brother. And when i had to put in the cheese packets i spilt a little bit on the stove. The stove was hot and i was planning to clean it when it wasn’t. And he comes over when it’s STILL HOT and asks if I could clean it and i said when i’m done. And when i was done he stomped over, and cleaned most of it. He still think i’m 2 years old and can’t do anything for myself. Like one time i cut a knot out of my hair, and he said, “don’t cut it, you’re still a KID” Im 11 years old, turning 12 on January 5th. He still holds my hand when we cross the street. And he controls my phone like, I can’t even download games. And he wont let me use Google.

Good news, My mom is fighting for full custody :) I’m supposed to pick a parent at 12 years but, my dad said, “ Me and your mom had an agreement to not do it.” But the thing is my mom lives 45 minutes away, In her Fiancé’s house. I genuinely love her fiancé more than my real dad. And he has 2 kids, Let’s call them, Jake and Ashley. Ashley is lesbian and she already told her dad. She knows i’m bi but not genderfluid. And i’m scared to tell her. I feel like she will hate me. But she keeps my secrets safe. So i can tell her. 

Also i want a more neutral name so if you have any ideas let me know :)

I'm sorry about your dad. That's no way to treat someone, especially your kid, and he does not deserve to have custody. I'm happy that your mom is trying to get full custody, and I think that if Ashley would support you and keep it a secret for as long as you need to, then feel free to tell her. Of course, this is up to you, and if you are comfortable with telling her that you're genderfluid and you want to and are ready, do it if you want.

Personal favorites include: Onyx, Sparrow, Skylar, Riley, Asher/Ash, Fenyx, Felix, Kai, Reese, Sawyer, Bailey, Zephyr, October, Amethyst (SO MANY NICKNAMES 'Ethy'*, 'Ame'), Raven (I am obsessed with names like Sparrow and Raven, sorry about that-), Arden, Rowan, Emerson/Emersyn or Emery (nickname could be 'Em' or 'Emmy'), Everest, Wren, Remy/Remi, Sage (if you read my story, I really hope you know that it's one of my very favorites), Spencer, Finley ('Fin'/'Finn' or 'Lee' for short), Cameron/Camryn, Oakley. . .

*ahem*

I'm sorry about your dad. I know what its like to have abusive parents. Its not fun, and I sincerely hope things get better for you.

I'm glad you have your mum and her fiance, though! They both sound like amazing people, and your step-siblings also sound like fun. Having people, especially family, that understand and love you is the best feeling in the world.

As a trans person, I have lots of name ideas! Some of my personal favorites are: Eden, August, Elias, Riley, Carl (or Karl), Tallulah, and Opal!
