What's going on with him

So there's this boy when I told him I like him he didn't respond to it . I text him and he texted me back but over time we stopped and he drifted apart.over  days , weeks and months my best friend keep on telling me that he constantly stares at me  . He would talk to other girls and look at me and when I ask him about it he would deny it . What does all of this suggest about this person?  Does he like me or not ? Please be honest I want a closure

When you told him that you liked him that probably made him confused so he needed time to think about whether or not he liked you back. If he's staring at you though well then he is thinking about you. That means he probably likes you but doesn't want to admit it. Another possibility is that he likes you and he's scared your gonna tell someone and maybe he's embarrassed when people know his crush.
