hey guys I just got diagnosed with autism and have no idea how to tell my friends I'm scared and do not want them to think differently of me but I also want them to understand how it affects my behavior and be patient but I have no idea how to tell them any ideas or advise?

If they are really your friends, then you telling them shouldn't affect them. Especially if they've been friends with you for a little while, then they should already be used to how you act and they should be willing to have the patience for you.

Honestly if they’re nice friends they should understand and shouldn’t treat you different at all. That’s my opinion, hope it helped.salute
