how do do blizzards impact earth forms?

I want to know for a science project I am doing in school. It is a weather project.     {I mean,of course}

Blizzards dont affect any part of the geosphere below the immediate surface, and it has little to no impact on the surface  crust. The rock at the surface tends to be well-weathered to begin with, so even when extended periods of high winds with snow and sleet do occur, it will change the earth VERY little. It can cause damages to property and deaths to people, though.

Blizzards do not affect any part of earth below the crust and have little or no impact on the surface crust, but they do impact the people, involving mass damage to people and cause sicknesses from the cold and people do end up dying due to blizzards by not being able to get out fast enough or their house caved in due to how much snow has fallen. It could cause damage to property like cars and houses, also due to the high winds the electricity might short circuit which means the power will go out. It could also knock down trees which might fall into houses or block the streets.
