Sad News :(

Question

so, i'll try not to do too much venting while I'm here. but i need to get this out.

my parents are getting a divorce. and every night i hear my name in their conversations. is it weird that I'm like, insanely worried??

Okay, so I don’t have divorced parents, but I recommend talking to psychosloth.

It's okay. I haven't heard my parents fight (well, an official fight anyways) for almost a year now. It's not your fault, even if you hear them say your name.

It's not weird to be worried, I'm sure that most kids going through this are, but it's not your fault.

Hey, my parents are legally separated at the moment. I get what you are going through.

They probably are discussing what they are going to do with you. Divorce has some extra problems when it comes to the kid, because both parents tend to want custody. I know my dad does. They probably are also discussing things like who you visit over the weekend, where your stuff goes, car dropoff when you need it, etc etc.

It’s not weird to be worried, but I promise there is nothing to worry about. I doubt they are discussing anything related to you that’s bad.
