Chapter Five

I trudge slowly to the principles office, slumping into the chair in front of Mr. Leo's desk. I cross my arms in front of my chest and sigh loudly.

Mr. Leo joins me in a jiffy. He's wearing a yellow plaid button up and tattered jeans .  He sits down at his desk. "Um, hi, Alex. How are you?"

 " I could be better. "

 "So, why were you sent to my office?"

 I look around awkwardly. "Well....you know Brittney?"

 " which one? "

 "The snobby rich one"

Mr. Leo chuckles. "Alright. What about her?"

 " Well, she made of fun of me being nonbinary. That's just rude and homophobic. And she twisted the story around and made it look like I was the mean one. "

Mr. Leo's brow raises. "Hon, life is life. Suck it up. I don't wanna be that person, but it's the truth. Just....you can leave, ok? But there's nothing I can't do for the situation. Sorry."

 I can't believe Mr. Leo. "Excuse me?? What....how....how could you???"

Mr. Leo chuckles and pushes me out of his office.

I didn't know the world was this cruel.....

This is so good!

Tho one thing I need to note: is that it would be transphobic not homophobic because homo-phobic means that the person is against homosexuality and homosexual people.

And then transphobic is that the person is against the idea, ect. that people can be able to identify as a different gender than the one assigned at birth. So it’s like homophobia but for gender instead.

I used to do the same thing and think that homophobia was also about gender but actually isn’t. So it’s okay! I just want to give you a heads up. :DD

Other than that this story is great!
