Chapter Five
Beatrice woke up.
Her eyes were heavy, and she felt faint. She looked around, and saw the same figure when she landed in this strange world. Except, he was clearer than before. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and a big smile. "Hello" he said. "Finally, your awake. My name is Carter, Sir Carter." He smiled. She saw he had a big scar on his face. It looked like a big animal with huge claws clawed his face. Beatrice looked down to see she was in a night gown. From the looks of it, she was in a infirmary. There was also a woman there, and she was in a nurses gown. The place looked like the middle ages. She heard them both talk about the kind and castle. She was confused. How could she get from one era from another? A time traveler? No, she couldn't have been one, but it was possible she could of found something that brought her back.
"Okay, we'll taker her to the king. Strange clothes she wore, for sure." The strange lady said. Beatrice was offended, but she couldn't blame her.
Beatrice was finally awake enough to notice all the details. To the brown walls and a small portait of a tall blond lady, and flowers with another picture. She guessed those were the ones that died. After she waited awhile, a young girl came in. She had rags on. She smiled. "The King wants to see you," she said, esscorting her out to the hall way.
After walking awhile, they headed off in a room. It was big, and at the end of it was the king. He looked old and wise. He grinned. "So, I suppose your whats keeping me from slumber?" He asked. "She was found with a strange object" said a teenager girl that was dressed in a blue gown. "Alright," he seated Beatrice down at a big table.
"Now, eat up."
Beatrice ate much, for she was hungry. "Yes, she was found with this" Beatrice heard while she looked over to see a going boy holding her time "traveler", or whatever it was, thing. She wanted to get it back, so she could go back to her era.
After she was done, she was showed to a small room. Although it was small, it was pretty. It was similar to the garden, with rose paintings and and a rosy color to the walls.
