so there is this person I have to tall to if I want to help with music in my Youth Group.

I don't know what to say, I have to ask if I can sing-up but........

I don't know if I should act funny in that email or serious???

please, any help or advice will be GREATLY appreciated

I know this is really cheesy, but I think you should just be yourself. If your a naturally humourous person, make it funny! If you feel like the topic should be taken a little more seriously, you can do that too, either way, I'm sure it will work out for you in the end (:
