Today I learned that many kids are doing a walk out, which if you don't know, it means you walk out of school to go protest against ICE. my friend asked my teacher on what you do for it, and she said 'you can't go, it's only for the upper grades'.
I know lots of things that most likely will happen but come on, I don't get why we can't go.
Either way I'm not going I prefer my education at the moment but I support each and every one that's going. I just think it's strange us seventh graders who are all 12-14 can't participate.
Has anyone been part of one of these? I know Texas is doing a lot of them.
