I love helping the environment! There's no place quite like this planet :)
I personally thing the BEST way to help is to reduce, reuse, and recycle! You can reduce the amount of waste and plastics going out by only buying things you really need- some things you can make yourself, anyways! Reuse things as often as possible- use old and cut-off paper milk cartons as seed starters for plants, and eventually you can just bury the whole thing in the ground, and the carton will decompose! Some restaurants also have take out containers you can use for a while before you throw it away, or use them as greenhouses (that's what I have been doing)! And of course, all though I'm not quite sure what the recycling industry looks like right now, recycle- it's a lot better than just throwing things out, and when you do recycle, there's the chance that what you threw out could turn into something new!
And, with those 6-pack can holder rings, please cut a slit in each ring so that animals can't get their heads stuck in them!
Try and limit showers to 15 minutes, and turn off lights and unplug devices when you are not using them.
Buy only environmentally safe products (like paper from sustained forests and dolphin safe tuna).
Ofc, plant more trees and flowers!! :)))
Most other "big" ways to stay green are expensive and don't really help the environment- electric cars? Nice idea, but do have any idea the amount of waste produced by the mining for the lithium batteries!? Lithium is found very, very deep underground and is limited, so its not like coal.
I'm so glad you want to help the environment! Every little bit counts :)))
