Finally asking...

Question

I know I've asked questions like this multiple times, but here me out.

I've made friends at my church youth group. The problem is mostly everyone has known each other for years and know each other from places outside of youth group. Whereas, I've only known them for most of this school year, and only know them through youth group. 

I've only had one GOOD friend. She was\is my neighbor. I haven't seen her for over an entire year. Not mention we never saw each other as often since the Corona virus. We were never really that close. She was my best friend. I wasn't her BEST friend.

Back to youth group. I'm at the point where they know me and I know them.last week they were talking about stuff I wasn't there for. Like a formal, and people from the place they know each other at. Sorry I just felt like I needed to say that.

I guess what I'm saying is, I don't even know how to form the Question, how do I become better friends with the people there.

Honestly, I'm in a different church than when I first came here, and I've been here for about 2 months now, but only Sundays, but I've made friends, but the thing is, all of them know each other so well, while I don't know anything. So, we're on the same boat. ;)

I made one really good friend, I think that she's super nice, and thinks of me as a good friend, but I'm not so sure.
