Your pet or a stranger. Who would you save?

VERY DIFFICULT QUESTION

Your beloved pet is drowning in a pool.  In another pool next to it you see a complete stranger who is also drowning. You can save either the stranger or your pet, but not both. Which one do you choice?

Id save my pet

1. Because the strangers death would not effect my life, but my pets would.

2. Im a 13yr old girl, there is no way i can save a grown adult who's drowning, i'm just not strong enough.

Also isnt it messed up, that we have to contimplate that maybe the stranger has a gun or a knife, like they say our generation is stupid and glued to technology and we dont go outside, First off THEY raised us Second off, its THEIR generation that has strangers who try to kidnap kids when they are outside/in public etc

Although It's maybe not the morally correct choice, I'd save my pet. Maybe this stranger happens to be a pro swimmer who has a high chance of getting out of this situation.

Pet. Honestly, I would save my pet, no matter what, because my pet is about the only friend when everyone else hates me, because, no matter what, your pet will love you.
