The spinal bones on the back supported a bump similar to a camel's. they were shorter than those of Spinosaurus, the gigantic descendent of Suchomimus . The skull was over 3 ft in length. Suchomimus used its strong legs for plunging into rivers to catch fish, and probably also for swimming.
