The thing is, it all starts at if God is real. There are different sides to this, but your decision impacts how you look at everything. If you believe in God, you aren't looking as much as others to have a good time on earth. You are focusing more on eternal life. Like I said, it all depended on what you believe in. The bible says a lot about how people who don't believe in God still have a "enjoyed" life, but what is far more important is what happens after. What you have to do is research. Just research about God. There is a lot of evidence that supports Christianity. You just have to actually look. This is something that is VERY important, so actually spend some time on this topic. I have come to the conclusion that God is real and that Christ is the Lord. Christians look at the world in a different way than others. We look forward to eternal life more than the next year on the earth. When you are a true Christian, what happens on earth doesn't matter. In the book of Matthew, Jesus says this;
"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."
So just because your life on earth is great, what about later. Nobody knows what will happen. As a Christian, I believe that there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth, but we don't know what Heaven will be like.
So anyway, it's a long topic, but still, it's important enough that you need to make sure you're right.
