Sleep paralysis

The day before yesterday, I had a nightmare. At the end, I floated up, and a chemical that puts venom on me and incinerates me and the person who did that looked like a sith from Star Wars and I couldn’t move to stop it! My friend said it was sleep paralysis. Do you think so, and have y’all ever had sleep paralysis?
