New Post Draft Feature

Question

We have had many requests asking for the ability to save a post you are working on to finish at a later time before it is sent for moderation. We added a draft checkbox that will let you do it now. After you submit something with "Save as draft" checked, you can go to your profile drafts section to edit it later. When you have something ready to be published, just uncheck the box for it to be approved. This works for both questions and answers.

You must be registered. We need to store drafts under an account name.

THANK YOU!!! This is a feature I think we have all been waiting for, and at long last we have it. I’ve lost several posts to the website reloading, so having the draft is really helpful. One question though, how long are drafts stored for before they are deleted?

Also, it’s neat that answers can be saved as drafts too!

Drafts are saved indefinitely, but you are limited to 500 total drafts, which should be enough.

Do your drafts get stored in your account or just in your browser?
