Uh, we all know the deal with Mean Boy... jeez, doesn't he ever give you a break!?
He's just insecure about himself. That's what bullies do- they bring and drag other people down to their level of misery or below, just to make them feel better about themselves. As the saying goes, "misery loves company!"
Now Wraya, I know that you're beautiful! You're kindness makes you more beautiful than Mean Boy may ever be- There was this quote that I read when I was younger in the Roald Dahl book, "The Twits." At the time when I read it, I was like "yeah, whatever"- As time wore on, I became very, VERY insecure myself. I felt so horrible, that I was ugly and awkward, like the odd one out, out of these other pretty girls with their perfect skin, smooth hair, and lean bodies. I was short, pale, wore thick black glasses, and had not yet found out a way to (decently) control my acne or fluffy short hair (I blame it on the hairdresser- she cut it the wrong way lol). Anyway, the quote went like this:
“If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face. And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until you can hardly bear to look at it.
A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.”
― Roald Dahl, The Twits
I got older, and realized how true this quote really was- most of the physically attractive girls were not who they appeared to be, and slowly, everyone is beginning to see them for what they really are- ugly. You, Wraya, are so kind, and it shows! Like Dahl said, "good thoughts... will shine out of your face like sunbeams, and you will always look lovely." Now, just as a little disclaimer (lol), I'm not saying that all pretty girls are mean.
Short story short- It's better to be prettier on the inside rather than the out.
Hope that help! Best of luck, my friend! :)
