I hear school in the states is way different then school in europe

Question

Is it true that in the US you have phyisical educatien and dont have to wear uniforms everyday? Also i hear that you play instrumenets to? And you have lockers and you dont have to carry things? And you also have a bus that takes you? You dont ride a bike or walk? You also shower at school to?

I'm in elementary school and here is what we have.

We do have P.E. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays though it's different for each class. My school doesn't have uniforms as it is a public school. We have instrument classes on Fridays, choices being Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello), Band, or Choir. In elementary school, we don't have lockers. We don't have a bus yet. I walk to school, but some kids bike or have their parents drive them. In elementary, we don't have showers.

Well, I'm in mid school so we do have locker rooms and lockers and PE, but we dont shower there. Either way I would REFUSE!

For every question except for the last one, yes. We do have physical education or in which we call P.E or Gym. We do have to wear uniforms every day we have gym because of hygiene (we sweat a lot). We do play instruments. We have lockers but we mostly carry everything we need for our first 3 periods in our string bags or hands.  We do have buses that take us to school, but a student has a choice to be picked up or dropped off by their parent or van. We don't ride a bike or walk since the school is too far away and for safety issues. We don't shower at our school. (IDK why and I don't want to)
