One night, Elle was a sleep in her bed and she heard a sound. SKRACH, SKRACH. Elle sat up, " what was that! " She opend her door cafuly and tip-toed to her moms room. when Elle opened the door, there was her mom sound asleep. Elle walked over to her mom's bed and wiaperd, "mom, wake up." Her mom rolled over to face Elle, "huh, sweetie what do you need?" Elles mom sat up, "um, I just can't sleep. I feel scared." Elle told her mom. Her mom looked simpathetic, "Elle there is nothing to worry about. are house is safe, a warm." her mom said. Elle wasent convensed, "I know but still." So her mom walked her back to Elles room, and said that to know her mom was there, she would knock on the door. So Elle cralded into bed and closed her eyes. Every time her mom walked down the hall, she would knock once. But at midnight, Elle woke up. She herd someone walk down the hall, there was no knock. and then Elle hered her mom screem.
