Section 9

Fortunate Son, part 1

Daisy had begun in a suburban home, near London. But then, the covenant showed up, and glassed the continent. Daisy survived only because he was in a basement at the time. By the time he went up, there was nothing left for miles. By then, he raised himself. He foraged the land for food and made armor out of metal scraps. Being the near level genius he was, Daisy managed to obtain instructions for Spartan armor. Then, Daisy managed to give himself the augmentations needed for Spartan armor. So then, Daisy went foraging for everything. Until the covenant showed up again to find more survivors.

The covenant stepped off the massive ship that was looming over London. Daisy pulled out the makeshift sniper rifle that he had made, and saw masses of covenant starting to fan out. Daisy had decided he had enough. He decided to fight back. A nearby Sangheili attempted to jump Daisy and trickstab him with his energy sword. But Daisy withdrew the combat knife he hastily attached to his shoulder armor and stabbed the Sangheili in its long, exposed, neck. He then withdrew the combat knife, and sheathed the knife. He then saw the Sangheili attempt another lunge, but the creature roared and its cloverleaf jaws opened and closed. Another Sangheili had jumped the Sangheili who tried to jump Daisy. “You will pay for this heresy!”, screamed the dying Sangheili on the ground. “At least I ain’t crippled and a crip, you bigger.” The dying Sangheili then said something inaudible about a “journey”, which then the Sangheili with energy sword stabbed the dying Sangheili. It let out one last scream and then shut its jaws. The Sangheili looked at Daisy and then walked off.

Daisy then set up his sniper rifle up.

Fortunate son, part 2

Daisy then zoomed in on the scope of his flimsy scope and then a brute lumbered into view. Daisy put it down. A Sangheili went down. Then a jackal. Another jackal. A brute. A whole squad of Sangheili. Then, something mysterious happened. The ship rumbled and then went down. The screaming of the deaths of hundreds still on the  ship was nerve racking. Charred remains flew all over the place and a arm landed next to Daisy. Daisy then clipped the rifle back on his armor and walked off.

There was absolutely nothing left of London Daisy knew of. Having heard of a bunker on his radio, Daisy then found an interesting looking hole in the ground. He then climbed down. There indeed was a bunker. But when Daisy went in, there was only dead bodies piled everywhere. There had indeed been a fight. The ptsd began to hit Daisy very hard. Daisy remembered the gruesome picture of finding his father with a massive hole in his chest. But this wasn’t time to cry. Suddenly, Daisy heard footsteps and activated active camouflage on his armor. He then stepped next to the door. Daisy then walked in when two people walked out. These two “people” didn’t look like survivors.  More like invaders. Daisy then fast marched quietly down the corridor, and then turned a corner, what he saw was horrifying. A man was being tortured, obviously, and his captors were gloating. Daisy then silently walked into the room. Unobvious to the captors, Daisy snuck behind the captors, and raised a finger to his mouth to tell the victim to be quiet. The victim smirked at the captors. “Whats yous smilin’ at?” asked the barrel chested captor. And then a rat faced captor said “Why dos I thinks there’s a bloody spy in here?” Daisy then said, “Right behind you.”, pulled out his combat knife, and with a swish, swish, flick, put all captors torturing the man down. Another squad heard the screams of the men and came into the room. They took the hostage and pointed a gun at his head, but Daisy quick drew his Socom and put all those guys before they could do something serious. More screams were heard, so now Daisy pulls out the MA5 and starts putting all those near the door to sleep. Soon, the amount of bodies was so high, many got stuck in the doorframe, and  the door was bumping into the bodies as it attempted to close.

More and more men were falling into the massive dog pile in the door, and the door now started smoking, and then with a bang, killed off everyone in the pile and everyone nearby. A wall collapsed and Daisy picked up a heavy machine gun. The invaders, scared, stampeded and crushed each other to get out, and none of them made it, until Daisy ran out of ammo. He then picked up dual Magnums, and managed to pick off eight more of the bastards before throwing his guns and killing another one. When Daisy counted the bodies, no less than 39 were dead, with three more killed when Daisy walked out the door.

Daisy then told the man to be cautious. The man revealed himself as J.B Applewhite, and he then picked up his standard issue metal marine tuck-box with his name write  with white paint. He then strapped his militia armor on and proceeded to attach the box to his backpack, then slung his battle rifle over his shoulder and walked out the door. Daisy stayed behind and downloaded data of the invaders movements. It seemed as though this group had only took over London. Just then, Daisy heard shouting and whipped his head around to see what the noise was. The invaders were ex cops, ex cons, and veterans. They called themselves the Crimson Ring, and they told Daisy to lay down his weapons. He laid down grenades without pins, and a single person yelled grenade. Before the grenade exploded, Daisy set down a portable shield, intentionally trapping the leader in the bubble. The sounds of screams of the dying men made the leader flinch. Then, Daisy shoved the leader out of the bubble and made sure he fell.
