Not my first one
The Battlecruiser then exploded, crashing into the lake again, and a second blast of heat killed all in the ship. The Marines and 63 rejoiced their victory, but one Marine wasn’t celebrating. He grabbed a shovel and hopped into a damaged Warthog, then drove to crash site. He found the destroyed Banshee, and pulled the mangled Marine out. He threw him into the back and and drove to the makeshift graveyard, a wretched mess of bomb craters and displaced bodies. The Marine chose a small location in the corner, and buried his friend. He then drove past a strangely half frozen trench, and decided to get off and explore it. Shouldering his shotgun, he walked down the icy corridors of this eerie structure. He then found a frozen body of a man, and when he attempted to take the man's tags off, it was frozen to the body, so he took the tag off and left the string there. He walked down further, and found the remains of some sort of.. ice projectile?, and several screaming ONI’s frozen indefinitely. He took off their tags as well, and kept moving forwards, and discovered a small hut. He walked inside and nearly fell into a large, soft blue pit. He managed to safely walk down and discover what it was, and as it turned out, a new weapon, developed by humans, carried on by Covenant. Several carts with these new weapons were placed around the pit, and a lot of frozen Covenant were positioned around the pit, and several more were inside the pit. The Marine then kept walking, and found… a teleporter, and with it a sign saying: “To Black Mesa Research Facility”, another one “To the Stronghold”, with a pile of some sort of blue gemstones around it. One to “U.A.C Research Facility, Mars”, and one “To Wolfenstein Castle”, “To Vault 76”, with some sort of a large case with a repair kit and a very primitive Apple Watch in it, and even then Apple Watches were long nonexistent. Another row of teleporters to the Outer Colonies, one to “PEI”, and a blocky, backpack next to it, with assorted survival supplies, and a pistol with a blocky cartridge. Another one to “Two Fort”, with a box with an ammo symbol on it. The Marine found the final one, one to “Пицца Хат, Никто не изгоняет хижину!”, and a box that smelled like cheese and had some foreign language on it. The Marine then ran back out the corridor, and while exiting, an Arbiter approached out of the shadows, and the startled Marine fired several bursts into the huge Elite.
