Nice!
Here are some things I’ve learned as a cat owner:
-get clomping cat litter. It’s easer to clean then non-clumping.
-clean the litter at least once a week. If not more.
-cats are pretty active. (Depends on the personality tho) so make sure their is a toy they can play with by themselves.
-keep string and stuff like that AWAY. They will eat this, and then it will get tangled up in their intestines. You can still play with them, using string. But make sure they are supervised.
-food mat to go under the food and water. They can be messy eaters.
-cats like it when their food/water is separated from their litter. So don’t put the cat box too close to the food/water.
-if you are playing with your cat using you hands, wear socks. Them claws are sharp.
-you don’t have to give you cat a bath that often. They clean themself often. So once to twice a year is fine.
-if you want you cat to go outside. Every now and then. Get a leash and harness at first, so they don’t get lost and get the lay of the land. Also BUY FLEE AND TICK REPELLENT. Read the instructions before puting it on the cat. Apply when said.
-get traits and teach your cat to come when called
so you have a dog? Here is some things that might help with getting them used to each other.
-put up a gate at first so they can get used to each others sent.
-keep you cat in one room at first. Then as she gets they lay out of that room. Open up another room.
I don’t know as much about having a cat after having a dog. Because we had a cat before we got a dog.
I hope this helps! Cats are really cute. But make sure to watch for when she says she is done. This will help you build trust.
