I understand exactly how you feel. It's like, whenever something changes about you, you feel suddenly self conscious! But first of all, you should know that people think about you WAY less then you think they do. One of my good friends is in my class, and she came to my house after school one day. She asked me if people had been talking about her new haircut. Actually, all my friends had been talking about how cute it was! Just goes to show you, huh? And even if people are talking about you, it is probably because they're self conscious and don't want to show it. You are amazing in every way, so don't let anybody's comments get to you, and if needed, ask friends to tell a teacher if they hear gossip about you. Hope this helps!
