Chapter 1
Catalina squinted up at the night sky at the constellation of a prince. He was holding a flower gentally, and was bending down as if he was trying to gift his flower to an elegant princess . She squinted even more, trying to make out the shape of a young woman delighted to be with the gentleman. Then the door behind her fluttered open and a noise of a small step on a tiny wooden stair was heard by the stargazing lady.
“Catalina, te estás perdiendo tanto en el interior. Este es tu día, mi amor. ¡Celebrar!” Catalina, you are missing so much inside. This is your day,my love. Celebrate!
It was an invitation. Catalina ignored the deep voice of the man and closed her eyes, taking deep breaths frequently. Her hands gripped the bottom of her red dress as her hair was pushed by the cold,delicate breeze of Sparrow Island. Finally, she managed a squeak out of her mouth.

Catalina was clutching the man’s chest tightly with pain rushing through her heart. The only thing left was sorrow and anguish. And the loss of a dear mom and an island.
