Think about it like this, they are still with you, just in Heaven. Watching over you with and your family with joy and happiness, telling you not to cry for their death. That's what my mom would tell me after someone close died, but it never helped for her sake. But it always did for mine. Like the other comment, you could pray for them to have a guaranteed joyful afterlife.
