Nothing else really to add it just is annoying having to guess and pick a gender for a baby especially since it hasn't been born yet

fr. also the concept of dressing girls in pink and boys in blue. I mean, my friend's favorite color is pink and he is constantly being teased about that. Another thing is that girls aren't judged for liking blue that much anymore, but boys are called gay or a girl if the like pink...?

by
Agreed!! I’m a girl and I like blue!! I know boys who like pink!! It’d annnnnnnoying.....
by
gh! Guys we do it to represent a boy or a girl that doesn't mean the baby likes those colours.

Second of you can,t know if someone is trans before birth or non binary .
by (13.0k points)
Thalia, you also don’t know if the baby is  a boy or a girl
by
Isn't that what ultrasounds are for ? I mean  you can know biologically.
by (13.9k points)
@YA I KNOW..........

uhm it's not their fav clor it's just that color represents that gender
by (10.5k points)

I disagree strongly, it’s good to introduce the sex of the baby you are expecting. Also, it shouldn’t be called gender reveal. It should be called sex reveal, since gender and sex are different things. You don’t guess, it’s the body of the baby that’s revealed. If it turns out enby or trans, that’s fine, but those are rare things.
by (101k points)
And also, there is a 1 percent chance of the baby not coming out boy or girl.
by
You often have to guess what it's going to be and being trans is a lot more common then you think. If you don't think you've met a trans person before you have you just probably didn't know they were.
by (165k points)
Mhm, It could be a boy, girl, intersex, or plain ambiguous.
by (165k points)
axolotl, I find it hilarious who you made that comment to.
by
Why? Is the person I replied to actually trans as well?/gen
by (165k points)
Well, I mean I don't want to out them and will hide this comment if they ask, but gender dysphoria if I remember right. Somewhere between female and enby.
by (101k points)
Sometimes I’m female, sometimes I’m enby. I’m confuzzled.

Girlflux?
