How do you know yet?

So how do you know that you are gay?

 

How do you know you have an affection for the same gender? How do you know you don’t like the opposite? 

 

This is a community of ever changing people. Our hormones are kinda confused and we are still growing. It is normal to be queer during this time. 

 

So you might think you are a part of LGBT+, but maybe you grow up to be straight. You might be certain, but you aren’t. (Lol)

 

Wait until you are 18.

If we’re too young to know we’re gay, how do you know that you are straight then?

People start to feel attracted to others at different ages. It’s the same with gender identity, a lot of kids know their gender at 6 years old or younger. There’s no “right time” to know. 

The average age for a first kiss is 15 and the average age for first s*x is 17 (this was a study of heterosexuals only). What do you think makes straight people so different from queer people that we have to wait until we’re 18 to even know which gender we’d like to to do these things with?
