Y’all. If you are over, like, 13ish, I would 10000% reccomend you watch Haikyuu. I might be a bit biased because it’s about my favorite sport, volleyball, but it truly is my favorite show ever. It’s rated TV-14, but that’s like the equivealent of PG-13, so I watched it, and OMGGGGG IT IS SO GOOD! The plot has me hooked, and i can easily binge 4 episodes a day... There’s a japanese sub and an english dub, and they’re both on Netflix. I’m sort of experimenting with both, but so far I like the dub better cause their voices sound more like them and it’s funnier. My favorite characters are Hinata and Suga, and Tanaka never fails to make me laugh. If you have emotophobia, like me, Hinata does have a weak stomach and gets sick from pre-game anxiety, the sound effects are there but fuller considerably and if you’re like me and you can shut out specific sounds, then you should be fine. It did scare me a little, but honestly the series was too good so I pushed through. In one scene it does show him throwing up on Tanaka’s pants, but it is censored and just looks like a white sparkly blob. Tanaka’s face in that scene is priceless. Actually, his faces in all the scenes are priceless... I would totally recommend this to anyone almost 13 or over, the storyline is captivating and there are little to no fillers, and it’s a great into anime for newbies as well. They say a couple not-so-great words, which is why it’s 13+, but nothing too terrible or that you haven’t heard at school yet. I love this anime like Kageyama likes milk, and you‘ll sure be getting a lot of fanart from me! Also, the fandom ships a lot of them, and honestly I can’t decide my otp so many of them are cute! I ship Kagehina, Asanoya, Kurooken, Tsukkiyama, Daisuga, and others I can’t remember right now...
